Altar servers assist during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

To volunteer as an altar server, please email [email protected].

Ushers are responsible for greeting visitors, assist massgoers to find seats, taking up the collection, coordinating the offertory procession, and distributing bulletins. Their most important role is the hospitality they show to all who attend St. Patrick's. To volunteer, contact the rectory (202-347-2713).

Eucharistic Ministers must undergo a period of training to assist in distributing the Eucharist at mass.

To enrich the Liturgy of the Word, a dedicated group of individuals has the responsibility of reading the Scripture for Sunday and weekday Masses. For more information, contact the rectory (202-347-2713).

To volunteer as a lector, please email [email protected].

Volunteers at St. Maria's Meals help serve dinner at Catholic Charities on the 4th Wednesday evening of the month, from 4:30pm-6:00pm.

INVITATION TO JOIN THE LANDSCAPING COMMITTEE!

Throughout the year, the grounds of our beautiful church need replanting, sprucing up, and nurturing. Would you be willing to help when you're available? All that is needed for this volunteer opportunity is a desire for our church to be as welcoming and attractive on the outside as it is on the inside. Your insight, enthusiasm, and ability to perform light landscaping tasks would be so helpful.
